Steffany L. Mohan, D.D.S.

Dr. Steffany L. Mohan attended Iowa State University for her undergraduate work. She graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1996. She has completed many advanced courses in implant and cosmetic dentistry.

She also has finished required coursework to become Invisalign certified. She is married to Mike Mohan and has four children, Luke, Camaryn, Halle, & Joshua.

Chad Vanourny, D.D.S.

Dr. Chad Vanourny grew up in Marion, Iowa and graduated from Linn-Mar Community High School in 1998. Dr. Vanourny then attended the University of Iowa where he earned his BS in Exercise Science (Integrative Physiology) with honors and a minor in Psychology in 2002. Following graduation, he continued his studies at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry where he earned his DDS in 2006. Dr. Vanourny practiced for over 2 years in Iowa City following graduation prior to relocating to West Des Moines, where he has practiced at Plaza Dental Group since the summer of 2008. Since 2009, Dr. Vanourny has also been an Adjunct Faculty member in the department of Family Dentistry at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where he teaches and works with fourth year dental students during their clinical work.

Dr. Vanourny has completed extensive continuing education courses in implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, general dentistry and short-term orthodontics. Dr. Vanourny is a member of the ADA, AGD and AAID.

Dr. Vanourny and his wife Jaime enjoy running, cycling, Iowa athletics (especially football), and playing with their dog Chloe. They have twins, born on February 2011.

James D. Elliott, D.D.S

Dr. James D. Elliott graduated from The University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2006. Dr. Elliott was the class Vice President from 2003-2006 and received a class leadership award in 2004. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, and Des Moines District Dental Society. Dr. Elliott has taken many continuing education courses involving Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry. In his spare time, Dr. Elliott likes to play golf and spend time outdoors. Dr. Elliott has a wife, Laura and loves to spend time with family and friends.
